The Denton County Youth Fair 19 & Under Rodeo will be held in conjunction with the youth fair on 2 (two) days this year! Friday, April 4th & Saturday, April 5th, 2025, at 6 pm at the Denton County Fairgrounds located at 2217 N. Carroll Blvd., Denton, Texas.

Entries may be dropped off or mailed as follows:
OPTION #1: DROP-OFF ENTRIES
Please drop off your completed entry form, copy of proof of age, and cash payment attached with staple or all in an envelope to the North Texas Fair Office at 2217 N. Carroll Blvd., Denton, Texas. The office is open Monday – Friday from 8 to 5 There is a door mail slot available from 5 to 6 but the gates are locked each evening.
OPTION #2: MAIL IN ENTRIES
Please mail in entries (NO CASH OR CHECKS) with a money order payable to DCLAYF MUST be POSTMARKED by Monday, March 18th

*Make sure you include the $20 office fee with the appropriate entry fees.
- NO Walk-up Entries
- Parent MUST complete & SIGN form
- Proof of age MUST be submitted with the entry form – age as of January 1st
- Open to contestants 19 & Under
- DO NOT have to live in Denton County
- Contestants may enter up in age group, if they wish
- Contestants may only enter each event 1 (one) time per age division
- Mutton Bustin Entries – (limit 20 per night)
- limited to age 7 & Under
- 55 lbs. weight limit regardless of age
- protective gear (helmets & vests) will be provided for use
- ropes will NOT be allowed
- contestants may only enter 1 time
- Champion to receive custom-made Chaps by Dylan Randall Leather Designs
- Team Roping Entries – girls & boys may enter 2 times heading & 2 times heeling with different partners – please choose 15 & Under or 19 & Under
- Rough Stock Entries –
Contestants are required to wear & provide their own protective gear (helmet & vest)
- Buckles will be awarded in each event
- Reserve All-around buckles in each of the six (6) divisions
- All-around saddles will be awarded in all six (6) divisions
- Tickets can be purchased from your local queen or princess candidate - $5 each
Children 10 & under are free – tickets will also be sold at the gate
- Order of Events:
Grand Entry, Prayer, National Anthem, Poles, Queens & Princesses Coronation (Friday), Mutton Bustin’, Bareback, Saddle Bronc, Breakaway, Tiedown, Ribbon Roping, Bulls, Calf Riding, Steer Riding, Chute Doggin’, Goats, Team Roping, & Barrels
